great service but room for improvement

The front desk staff were incredibly attentive and made our check-in process smooth. The King Room was spacious and well-appointed, providing ample space for our group to relax. The location was perfect for exploring, with numerous shopping options and eateries just a short stroll away.

While the stay was enjoyable, the overall decor felt slightly dated.

    close attractions

great access to parks and iconic landmarks for city explorers

I loved how close the hotel was to the International Rose Test Garden, just a short stroll away, and how easy it was to walk to Pioneer Courthouse Square to take in the local scene. the bed in my room was super comfy, making it a cozy spot to recharge after all the exploring. As a single traveler, I appreciated having plenty of nearby dining options like Mizu Sushi Bar right on the corner for quick bites between sightseeing. but the valet parking service could use improvement as it was a bit chaotic during my stay.

    Target audience seeking decent stay

Had a solid experience at the rooftop bar, drinks were pretty decent, and the view was noteworthy.

The price was a bit steep for what I got but still somewhat acceptable.

    limited parking

Our family had a delightful stay in the heart of downtown. The staff went above and beyond, especially Jason and Ben, who sorted out our breakfast credit issue quickly. The rooftop pool was a hit with the kids, making our cousin's visit extra special.

My kids wished there was more parking available for families to make it easier during busy times.

It was just a commendable fit for a transient visit in Portland with good price-quality ratio. The staff was helpful with carrying my luggage because of my early arrival. Be ready for extra parking fees that can add up.
